Standalone Playout application with Windows based GUI for project editing and control. Broadcast and
Professional versions are available as well as Stereoscopic options

Standard features are:

  • Real Time 3D compositing engine with support for Layer based Positioning, Parallax (Stereoscopic mode), Scaling, Rotation, Transparency, Color Correction and Alpha Matte (one static alpha source per layer, or another layer for animated alpha) .
  • Number of Layers limited only by Hardware capabilities.
  • Layer based Timelines.
  • Timelines can include any combination of Clip types.
  • Timeline based Scheduling.
  • Clip based Scheduling (support for Back to Back or Scheduled / Ruled Clip Start). End mode includes option for Stoping or Freezing.
  • Clip Start controlled by the Scheduler or external GPI triggers.
  • Clip Transitions (CrossFade and Dissolve).
  • Layer and Clip based Cropping, Ratio and in Layer positioning adjustment.
  • Layer based Drop Shadows with Layer Alpha support, Distance and Angle
  • Real Time Ticker per Layout.
  • Real Time Ticker includes User Text combined with System generated Time and Date, user selectable Font, Size and Color.
  • Clip Sources supported include: Audio and Video files, Audio and Video Streams, Web pages, Flash Animations, AntiAliased Text, Graphics, TV Input cards and Video and Audio Capture cards including Cameras.
  • Text Sources Content can be Static (clip text), File based (locally or network available Text file, Word Document or HTML page) , RSS Feeds and Atom Feeds or Database sourced.
  • Text Sources can be Static, Crawl or Roll based.
  • Stereoscopic sources can be in Side by side, Top and Down and Interleaved formats.
  • Video Formats and containers supported include: Mpeg 1/2/4/H264, WMV,QT, FLV, AVI, MXF, TS. (Operating System must have the required Codec installed unless the Decoding Pack option is available).
  • Graphic Formats supported include: BMP, EMF, WMF, GIF, JPEG, JPEG2000, PSD, PNG, PCX, PBM, PGM, PPM, SGI, TGA, TIFF.
  • Graphics Source can be File based or Color source that’s internally generated (including Color plus Alpha Ramps).
  • Clip based Embedded Alpha Channel support for Graphics files (file format dependent). Clip Alpha is real time modulated with Layer Alpha by the 3D Engine during playout.
  • Clip based Color Correction is real time modulated with Layer Color Correction by the 3D Engine during playout.
  • Audio Formats supported include: WMA, WAV, MP3, AAC.
 

 

  • Audio Level Control per Clip, per Layer and per Output.
  • User Defined Clip In and Duration (frame accuracy depends on the codec used).
  • Streaming protocols supported include: RTP/UDP, HTTP, MMS, RTSP and RTMP.
  • Real Time Composited Output can be sent as a Window of any resolution to any display output available in the graphics card.
  • Real Time Composited Output can be sent as Full Screen Exclusive Window to any display output available in the graphics card (the Full Screen mode depends on the available display modes).
  • Real Time Composited Output can be sent to Video Output Cards from Blackmagic and AJA in SD or HD resolutions (BROADCAST version only).
  • Internal and external (Fill & Key) keyer modes supported for certified video cards (BROADCAST version only).
  • Real Time Composited Output can be sent as a Windows Media Stream for Preview purposes over the Ethernet Network (BROADCAST version only).
  • Real Time Composited Output can be presented in Stereoscopic Side by Side, Top and Down, Interleaved and several Anaglyph modes.
  • Project Editor for bins, clips, timelines, layouts and layers.
